It's no secret that my mom is freakin good at cooking. Now that we're not all here to enjoy my mom's food off of her stove, I'm gonna attempt to jot some key recipes down in hopes that we can carry on these great dishes in our lives and alway have her in our thoughts. Enjoy & good luck!

Mom's Famous White Rice
Ingredients
Rice
Butter
Onion
Water
Sour Cream
Chick Flavor Bouillon (powder) [Knorr]
Instructions
Preheat pot [medium-low]
Put 1 cup of rice
Add 2-3 dice-sized cubes of butter
Add 1 orange-wedge sized wedge of onion
Let that heat for about 5 minutes while stirring [so that the rice hardens]
Add 2 cups of water
Add 1 tablespoon of Chicken Flavoring
Add 1 tablespoon of Sour Cream
Gently stir until it boils
Put lid on with slight crack for about 7-10 minutes
Fully close lid & change flame to lowest setting (for best result, put on top of pan to reduce heat)
Let sit for 20-30 minutes (You know what it's supposed to look like)
